Warm weather cuts into Burton action at COP
Calgary’s darling chinook winds and 15-degree temperatures cut short Wednesday’s action at the Burton Global Open Series at Canada Olympic Park.
Session one of the men’s slopestyle pre-qualifications was completed but the up to 64km/h winds prevented the completion of session two. Canadian Will Lavigne finished first in session one. Thursday will have the completion of session two as well as the women’s halfpipe competition.
