Cougars, Calamities and Classics: Playoffs become a little dull

So we have said farewell to Vancouver, Washington, Anaheim and Boston. What an interesting playoffs it has been. I thought that the Bruins hoisting that silver chalice of hockey would have been inevitable. Instead the Bruins were stunned into submission by the Carolina Hurricanes.

Then there are those pesky Detroit Red Wings. One cannot doubt the skill of that team, they are incredible but it gets so boring when one team dominates all and wins all the time. Maybe the Blackhawks will pull a golden horseshoe out of their ass and send the Red Wings packing back to Motown.

As I’ve said before my fortune telling skills have gone the way of the dodo but I’m going to call a final anyways just for fun…. this might be a little wishful thinking on one side but let’s go with Pittsburgh and Chicago with the Original Six winning all the marbles. Hey… stranger things have happened!
