Calamities –

Vancouver Canucks are sitting in the basement of the NHL Western Conference standings at this moment. Not gonna lie to you it makes me giggle like a school girl as I am a fan of a certain team with Flaming C’s on their jersey’s but really…I think an 0-3 start is not even close to what the team was anticipating. Especially riding on the back of inking the Sedin twins and their net-minder and team Canada’s potential leading man when it comes Olympic time, Roberto Luongo.

Classics –

Speaking of things that make me giggle like a school girl, although this time with delight as opposed to not so nice intentions is the MLB World Series. Since my hockey playoff predictions were so awful I’m going to try again, this time with baseball.

Yankees vs. Twins – New stadium deserves a new world series title. Yanks all the way.

Red Sox vs. Angels – As much as I love Big Papi I think the Angels have the cojones to go all the way against the Bo Sox.

Rockies vs. Phillies – It’s Colorado’s time to shine.

Cardinals and Dodgers – Dodgers with the grand slam.
