Cougars named academic all-canadians

Four student athletes from Mount Royal University have been named academic all-canadians.

In a joint release from the CCAA and SIRC (Sport Information Resource Centre), Cam Dodd (basketball), Emily Larson (basketball), Dan Durham (volleyball) and Julia Pasieka (volleyball) were named among Canada’s top academic student athletes.

Dodd played on the men’s basketball team which captured an ACAC bronze medal this season, while Larson was part of the women’s basketball squad with also captured bronze.  Pasieka was part of MRU’s first ever national women’s volleyball championship squad and Durham played for the men’s volleyball team which finished 11th in the regular season, narrowly missing the playoffs.
