After a largely successful first year that saw 8,000 hip hop fans dance and sing in the pouring rain and mud, Union Events has put together another star-studded roster for the 2016 rendition of the One Love Music Festival. On Sept. 10-11, YYC will host some of the largest names in Rap and R&B. Headlining the two-day event are hip hop kings Lil Wayne and Big Sean, with Jhene Aiko, Tyler the Creator and Action Bronson all making appearances.
“It’s very exciting to once again bring the hottest names in hip hop to the area,” commented festival producer Harvey Cohen of Live Nation Canada. “The success of last year’s event and the strength of this years’ lineup proves that One Love will be around for many summers to come.”
Toronto rapper Jazz Cartier, fresh off his debut album, will be performing on the main stage with the other big names. The festival will also have a seperate stage that will feature Canada’s best up and coming rappers, dancers, DJ’s and art.
Single day and weekend passes are now available through Union Events at onelovefestival.ca.
